A P Innes Contract Farming

Welcome to A P Innes Farming

Three generations of the Innes family have been farming south of Kelso, in the Scottish Borders, since 1935. The experienced and dedicated team are looking to expand the business, working with like-minded farmers and land-owners, via Contract Farming Agreements (CFAs) across the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland. If you are considering retirement, don’t wish to have a ‘hands-on role’ in the day-to- day farming operation, or have another career or business but want to keep your family farm, then Contract Farming could be the solution for you.

We offer a supportive, long-term and profitable working partnership, enabling you to retain your family home, enjoy the tax benefits afforded to farmers, and have an ongoing income stream from your farm. Our Contract Farming Agreements can be tailored to meet the needs of each farm and individual circumstances. We will deliver an efficient, modern and sustainable approach to farming, taking responsibility for all elements – from working the land to selling the produce at the best possible price. By working with us you are also investing in the future of your farm and land.

We ensure that the quality of your land and soil will be improved for future generations as the result of our farming practices.

A partnership for growth.
